[Subsurface response to the Deepwater Horizon oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. Cruise 16, Summary of data collected from the R/V Brooks McCall, Aug. 4, 2010 - Aug. 7, 2010] [electronic resource] / [U.S. Dept. of Commerce, National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration ; U.S. Environmental Protection Agency ; BP]. [2010].

The R/V Brooks McCall departed on Aug. 3, 2010 from Fourchon, La. to collect data in the Gulf of Mexico, Mississippi Canyon. The primary purpose of this cruise was to complete Dispersant Monitoring and Assessment Directive - Addendum 4, with the collection and analysis of DO samples from a range of depths using automated titration methods. From Aug. 4 to Aug. 7 2010, water samples were collected at 15 stations (BM154--BM168) for particle size distribution measurements using the LISST-100X particle counter, a total of 169 LISST samples were analyzed. Samples at depths with elevated CDOM fluorescence levels and/or oxygen anomalies were selected for fluorescence intensity ratio measurements using a Quantech Life Sciences fixed wavelength fluorometer.
